Igniting a Cycle of Success in the Frontier

Frontier communities fall through the cracks due to remote locations, unique needs, less access to services and infrastructure, and little policy and economic development consideration.

Connecting for Change

As a non-partisan organization solely focused on the frontier, NCFC connects with a broad range of federal, state, and local organizations. Our work with nonprofits, individuals, and networks around the country helps raise awareness and amplify community voices for better representation at all levels.

Program Success + Advocacy =
Powerful Change

Momentum from various community stakeholders coming together around programs has a lasting effect. Communities can build on local Prevention, Health, or Food Systems program success, bringing informed and impactful voices to policy-making circles.

Legislative Work at Multiple Levels

Over the years, we’ve engaged in state and federal legislative work at multiple levels. Below is a short list of legislation that considers remote area communities, in which NCFC has played a role.

We engage with legislative leaders to drive fair, well-informed policy and legislation for remote areas with clear paths to federal and state programs, and equitable resource distribution.

We build advocacy into all of our programs and support specific campaigns, such as ensuring adequate access to basic services like healthcare, broadband, emergency services, and food.
